Most of America could afford insurance coverage if women would stop wearing high heel shoes.

We have passed the day and age of woman being supported by the parents until they marry. No longer are dowries offered to the man that takes the woman's hand in marriage. Have we lost forever the Mrs. Cleaver and Mrs. Cunningham days of the moms staying at home to cook, clean and take care of the family while Mr. Cleaver and Mr. Cunningham brings home the bacon.

Today the hog, brought home by the Cleaver and Cunningham males, does not provide enough bacon to feed the family. Because of this, most modern families are two income families. Before the bacon can even be put inside the refrigerator it is shaved to provide health insurance for the family.

Chances of injury to the family have increased as activities and lifestyles have changed. The males and females have to leave the Little House on the Prairie in order to both provide the larger hog. Children now have to brave riding the bus going sixty miles an hour down the Interstate along side cars speeding to work to attend school instead of skipping through the meadow into town to the one room school house. Since families have left the prairie, they open up the possibility of more injuries.

An image has been created by popular America possibility by starting with Mrs. Cleaver cleaning the house in her dress, pearls and high heel shoes. When she left for work, she walked out of the house in the same high-heeled shoes that she cleaned in. She faces more risk than just tripping over the vacuum cord and standing at the stove in those shoes. Now in those high heel shoes, modern women has to keep up the same glamorous appearance that men see her in and she has to compete in the dog-eat-dog world in the workplace in order to earn enough money to help fatten the hog. After earning her daily strip of bacon, women still has to walk forty more miles in those shoes to pick up the family, run the family errands, perform the family chores and cook the bacon while never stepping out of those shoes. Modern woman risks injury to her ankles and back in this fast paced, high stepping, buying another pair of shoes, needing 5 pounds of bacon day by tripping in those modern woman shoes.

In order to fix the agony of modern woman, she needs to make frequent trips to the doctor and the emergency room. With increased claims being filed to the insurance companies, health insurance has skyrocketed which in turn shaves the bacon that modern woman has earned. If modern American would take modern woman out of those modern shoes and massage her feet, health care rates would decrease therefore decreasing health insurance rates. Modern man could then bring home enough bacon to feed the modern family and buy modern woman turned back into Mrs. Cleaver woman a new pair of 4 inch high pointed toe backless shoes just to clean the house in.

I wrote this a while back and thought I would share for a good laugh. Take this only in the humor perspective it was written LOL. In no way was it an opinion....it was strictly a piece of satire :-)
